Salem State University was well represented at the 2014 Northeast Modern Language Association (NEMLA), held in Harrisburg, the capital city of Pennsylvania, with the participation of Dr. Kristine Doll, Dr. Anna Rocca, Dr. Fátima Serra and Dr. Michele C. Dávila.  As the new French & Francophone Literatures Director, Dr. Rocca organized a special event in French in which Franco-American writers Rhea Côté Robbins and Jeri Theriault read excerpts of their last publications.
